Liberty Stadium To Host WBC Clash Between Nigeria's Scorpion Oyekola And Spain's Tornado Savin

African boxing fans especially Nigerians are thrilled at the fact that World  Boxing Federation (WBF) has officially approved the  International Super Featherweight title bout between Ridwan Oyekola of Nigeria and Spaniard Jose Ramos Savin.


Not only will the fight take place, it will take place at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria on December 27, 2020.


This was confirmed via a a release by Sola Ayodele, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Core Afrique Boxing Promotion the boxing promotion outfit authorized to stage the world title bouts.

Oyekola aka the  Scorpion, an Ibadan native has already gone into camping ahead of the historic fight in a bid to beat the Spaniard on home soil. He will be seeking to rebound from his first loss  ever suffered which was the surprise defeat against  fellow homeboy Sikiru Shogbesan on December the 28th last year on the GOtv Boxing night 20.

 

Meanwhile Ramos Savin aka The Tornado is not chopped liver and though he has a lowere knock-out percentage than the Scorpion, he has yet to be beaten so this will certainly be quite a thriller and many wonder who will wilt.
