Brown Ideye Says Bye-Bye To Greece
Striker Brown Ideye has reportedly ended his stay at Greek Super League club Aris Thessaloniki, after just twelve months with the club. The 31-year-old decided to move on from the team after his current deal expired on June 30th, 2020 by rejecting a new offer that would have kept him at the club until the end of the 2019-2020 season.
Ideye joined the club last summer after leaving Chinese Super Lig side Tianjin Teda, where he suffered through a tough spell

. However, in Greece, he seemed to have found his groove back and smashed in 12 goals from 30 appearances for the Yellow-Blacks in all competitions but frustratingly failed to help the club claim any trophy as they were knocked out of Greek Cup in the semifinals and they followed that up by crashing out of the Greek Super losing 2-0 to PAOK last weekend.
The club will now prosecute their last three games of the season against big guns Panathinaikos, AEK Athens, and Olympiakos without Ideye.
