Sam Mbakwe International Airport Among 5 Listed By FG To Resume Domestic Flights
With the resumption of domestic flights looming on June 21 the FG has named the selected airports that will be reopened.
The Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Musa Nuhu yesterday revealed the five airports in question

They are the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport Kano, Omagwa International Airport, Port Harcourt, and the Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri.
Nuhu further informed that the airports will remain closed to foreign flights until a resumption date was announced.
He concluded by saying that other airports will be gradually added to the network after a review and assessment and that flights to any airport outside the five listed airports shall comply with the existing COVID-19 protocols for approval.
