Escaped Kidnap Queen-pin Mercy Paul Recaptured By DSS And Prison Officials In Kano
Parents all over the country can sleep better tonight and so can their children.
This is because the Department of State Security (DSS) in collaboration with agents of the Kano Correctional Centre have rearrested crime queen Mercy Paul who had escaped after being arrested for the kidnapping of several children and selling them in Anambra State in 2019.
After her arrest, Mercy Paul escaped on January 31st from a toilet at the Murtala Muhammad Hospital in Kano where she was taken for treatment after supposedly falling ill at the Correctional Centre

In any case officers from both agencies finally tracked her down after excellent intelligence gathering and nabbed her at an undisclosed location. She was however found in dire straits and was rushed unconscious to the hospital where she received treatment including a blood transfusion that helped necessitate her. Needless to say, she was shadowed constantly by security personnel.
The Controller of Kano Correctional Centre, Ahmad Abdullahi Magaj while sharing the good news with the press and public hailed Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for ensuring synergy among security agencies in Kano, as well as all that played roles in the capture of the evil kingpin.
