The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and the Imo State Government look to be heading for a confrontation of an epic scale.
This is because the NLC's Imo State chapter, has issued a new 14-day ultimatum, to the Imo State government. The ultimatum, is anchored on four points, which include:

* Non payments, staggered payments, under payments for Imo State pensioners since |Feb 2020 till present date
* Implementation of N30,000 minimum wage
* Other negotiatables
In a statement endorsed by Austin Chilakpu, State Chairman, NLC, and Com Nkim Tangban, State Chairman, TUC, and released yesterday in Owerri the NLC gave the Imo State Government till November 16th to comply with all the points raised or face the repercussions.
