Is Replacing Aubameyang With Dennis Really Like Swapping An IPhone With A Nokia 3210? Some Think So...
Ever since it became public that the Gunners were willing to drop £22 million for Club Bruge's Emmanuel Dennis in anticipation of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang departure, many Arsenal fans and soccer pundits have bemoaned the fact that the Nigerian will not be able to fill the shoes of the Gabonese. One such a doubter is Fox Sports reporter James Dodd who likened Dennis replacing Aubameyang like swapping your iPhone for a Nokia 3210.
Aubameyang, due to the fact that he has rejected all Gunner overtures so far is more than likely to move on to other pastures this summer as he will enter the final year of his contract in July and as we know, several big teams in Europe are monitoring his situation.
Dennis and Aubameyang share many similarities.
Both are pacy and capable of being
deployed as a winger or striker, but the main difference between the two
Africans is that the Gabonese is a goal poacher extraordinaire, with 61 goals
to his name since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium in January 2018

In as much as Dennis is not chopped liver and already has a better scoring record than the Arsenal captain at the same age, his goals are not as consistent as Aubameyang's are and many are wondering where the Gunners will get their other goals from.
James Dodd still speaking on Dennis further
shared: "Haven't seen loads of him but from what I saw in the Champions League this year...his second touch was a tackle!"
This begs the question as to how he can jump to such conclusions if he has not watched both players consistently.
Regardless, many Gunner fans, especially Nigerians are keen on seeing Dennis in their beloved red and white kit and playing alongside the Nigeria eligible teenage prodigy Saka.
