Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Tests Negative For Coronavirus

The Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has tested negative for the Coronavirus, special adviser on politics Babafemi Ojudu reported.

Yesterday, Senior Special Assistant on Media, Laolu Akande said Osinbajo conducted his meetings via video conferencing, while observing social distancing as he was in self-isolation in accordance with NCDC protocols.
Fears had heightened about the vice-president’s coronavirus status after Abba Kyari, chief of staff to President Buhari tested positive.
Abba Kyari and VP Osinbajo always sat together at the weekly Federal Executive Council meetings, which is now postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic.
Report also said that President Buhari tested negative for the virus.
